Join the UC Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association Board of Directors for a dynamic training session focused on understanding California’s legislative process and how to effectively advocate for the issues that matter most to our students, faculty and communities. This event is open to all alumni and friends of the university from all backgrounds.
Why This Matters: Whether you are new to advocacy or a seasoned professional, a solid understanding of how legislation is introduced, amended, and passed is essential to shaping policy.
This training will empower participants with the tools to:
- Navigate the state legislative system
- Track and analyze legislation
- Engage with policymakers effectively
