UC CLAA: Presente y Activados Avanzando UC
Join UC CLAA for a day of advocacy and education in Sacramento. Attendees will have the option to attend a networking and lunchtime panel, briefings on legislative and budget advocacy, and a special reception honoring UC Regent Emeriti John A. Pérez! Whether you attend one or all three of these activities, this promises to be an energizing and uplifting day supporting and celebrating community.
Jointly hosted by UC Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association, UC State Governmental Relations, UC Student and Policy Center, and the UC Office of the President, in association with the California Legislative Caucus, UCLA Health Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture, UCLA Chicano Studies Resource Center, and the UCLA Latino Policy and Politics Institute, and Hispanas Organized for Political Equality.
This consortium embodies the dynamic collaboration between Latinx alumni, the University, and our state and local leaders to advance the mission of the University to uplift the Latinx community. It celebrates the power of a united community — present, engaged, and ready to drive meaningful change in Sacramento, creating a brighter future for Latinx students, alumni, faculty and staff alike.
