About Winery: Sakura means “cherry blossoms” in Japanese, the blossom's fleeting beauty reminds us to embrace life and appreciate each moment. We’re a small family vineyard and winery located in Livermore Valley. We grow Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in our vineyard, along with a small amount of Petit Verdot, and craft all of our wines in small lots. We hope you enjoy our Sakura wines with family and friends as a way to savor and truly be in the moment, whatever it may be.

Visit us at our new tasting room - we’d love to welcome you for a relaxing tasting experience!

Aggie Connection: Jennifer did not take a conventional route to winemaking, she graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering and Stanford with a M.S. in Aero/Astro Engineering. It wasn’t until her family moved to a property in Livermore that featured a vineyard that she even considered owning a winery. She says her goal with Sakura is “to create elegant wines that pair well with sushi and Japanese cuisine in general”.
