About Winery: Eco Terreno translates to ‘ecology of the land’, which reflects our dedication and reverence to the land, and our desire to care for its long-term health and well-being. The winery lies on the banks of the Russian River, in the premier wine region of Alexander Valley, Northern California. We feature ten varietals in our vineyards, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc. Together the foggy microclimate and ancient soils of our valley bring depth and texture to our wines.

Stop by their tasting room in San Francisco’s Jackson Square to try some of their wines.

Aggie Connection: Mark earned a B.S. in Fermentation Science from UC Davis in 1978 and began his career at Sebastiani Vineyards in 1979. By 1985, he was in charge of the harvest and the winemaking team, producing exceptional wines from Sonoma County, including his own vineyards. He was honored as "Winemaker of the Year" in 2004 and received UC Davis' "Distinguished Alumni Award" in 2005.
