Nestled in El Dorado County, at an elevation of 2,400 feet near a gentle creek that whispers constant airflow, Cielo Sulla Terra thrives in its unique microclimate. You can feel the energy in the air, sense it in the earth, and savor it in every sip of our wine. From Tuscan to Bordeaux, each vine is nurtured with the goal of embracing organic, biodynamic, and earth-friendly practices.

Aggie Connection: Dr. Marc Malek and his wife, Shelley, have owned Cielo Sulla Terra since 2021, and have been running the winery and vineyards since 2022. Marc graduated from U.C. Davis with a B.S. in Environmental Toxicology in 1986 and in 1990 from the School of Veterinary Medicine. Marc is a veterinarian, and his “free” time is spent managing the vineyard and winery, caring for their animals, riding/training their horses, and enjoying family.
